

My Journey in the Corporate World
I've spent my career in the corporate world, starting as an eager Management Consulting Graduate at PwC. After some truly fulfilling and challenging projects, I made the shift from a client-facing role to a Global PMO position at TikTok. Throughout my career, I have loved project delivery, however, I also found myself continuously volunteering for "people" focused activities like coaching, mentoring, training and team engagement.

A Shift to People-Centred Leadership
As I progressed and took on more managerial and leadership responsibilities. I realised I preferred developing individuals in my team and helping them achieve their professional goals. Having played sports at various levels all my life, I understand the impact of an individual’s contribution as well as the power of a team dynamic. I believe that leaders exist at every level of an organisation not just at the top of the triangle; they may not always be the best players, but they have the qualities that uplift the whole team. Great leaders nurture this potential instead of fearing it. I’ve seen inspiring leaders create genuine loyalty and commitment, and I’ve also witnessed environments where results come at too high a cost to culture and people.




Global Exposure and Cultural Insights
I enjoyed working in a global organisation, the fast pace, pivoting when hit with curveballs, the opportunities to travel, learn and experience different cultures (Thank you “The Culture Map”) and navigate the data driven tech world.
Resilience Through Change and Rebranding
Throughout my career, I've had to "re-brand" myself - from being a graduate to a Senior Manager, returning to work after my first child and setting new boundaries to moving jobs after over a decade. Through the highs, lows, and learnings that tested my professionalism, integrity and resilience, I've gained confidence in my capabilities to embrace the belief that there was no ceiling for my team.... including my job! This passion to develop people's potential became increasingly clear and louder.


Launching Empowering Potential
With that, I have made my third career move and established “Empowering Potential”. To make sure I wasn’t just calling myself a coach based on experience, I completed my Coaching & Mentoring Diploma and am an EMCC Practitioner.

This is done through deep empathy with actionable insights that drive real change.
